Many things have happened since my last post:

A deadly hurricane hit the South. Her name: Katrina

Coal miners were trapped and never resuced.

A very evil man was sentenced to death and later executed. Saddam Hussein.

Lebanon was attacked out of cruelty and injustice.

Nancy Pelosi became the first WOMAN Speaker of the House. (wow)

A female ran for the seat of Vice President of the United States of America. (WOW)

A NON-CAUCASIAN male ran for the seat of PRESIDENT of the United States of America... AND WON! (WWOOOWW!!!!!)

People were killed, protesters rallied, cultures were judged, forgiveness was offered, second chances were taken, change came in a mighty way, and history was made.

These and many more events took place during my sebatical from Xanga. The good, the bad, and the ugly still exist all over this entire world. My heart is still saddened by judgemental brutality that ravages through the hearts of men and women. Their eyes are filled with hatred and their mouths overflow with words that cut deep into their victims.

Are we not called to love ALL? Why is bigotry so prevalent in today's society? Can we not afford to sacrifice our old habits to the betterment of HUMANITY?

If we stand together and hold no biases against one another, we just might accomplish peace. Every step counts, so be the difference. Be the change. Assert the hope and defend the weak when no one else will listen to their small voices.

"One small voice alone is meek and distant, but when multiplied over time, it is unified and heard throughout the ages of time." -TSOH

When rain falls down in multitudes, he is beautiful.

When he kisses her, it is unadulterated bliss.

When kissed on the nape of her neck, chills run down her spine.

When the chills have reached there destiny, they simply recrudesce.

When returned to their natural state, she is numb with euphoric harmonies within her bosom.

When the harmonies regress and the chills are gone, she wakes up to find her sheets tattered and worn with a sense of vexation.

Is it another dream, dreamt yet again?

Her interest is piqued, for now, only a few more hours until she will find her ignis fatuus again....

But awaken by warmth in her blood, she feels him. He is no longer the stranger in the night that abandons her like before.

The warmth of his hand brings light into her eyes. He sees her. He loves her. He kisses her and the reality presents itself with grace, kindness, peace, compassion, sincerity, and a multitude of benevolences.

No more furtiveness or elusive disappointments does she know.

His pursuit is anything but false, tainted by nothing. He loves her. He rescues her from a impasse she had traveled down far too long.

With everything given to him, HE LOVES HER.

She loves him.

She is awake.

"6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7Therefore do not be partners with them.  8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
   "Wake up, O sleeper,
      rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."

15Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. 18Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. 19Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. "

Ephesians 5:6-20

Back to back. Breathing last breaths for the first time. Cold and empty- he left the room.

Taking it all in. Second chance- last dance. Fearing the familiar.

Spoken words- broken words. Leaving words left to be fulfilled.

Kept his hat on. He wore his welcome out way to soon.

Her toes were on the edge. She gripped them over the top of the high rise as she searched for and debated her destiny. Many told her to get away from there- "It's not worth it! It's not smart!" They would say. Then others... well... they told her to do it- "It feels great and you'll die with extacy! It's the greatest high of your life!"

She watched others jumping, some regreating it- screaming on their way down. Others jumped and came back t do it again. Those were the ones with injuries too much for some to handle. Others staid down there for eternity and never made it back up.

"If I go... I don't ever want to come back!" That's what she said... that's what she meant. But it wasn't what she should have done.

She jumped... she decided she wanted to fall in love.. so she jumped... But she only thought she was falling- she wasn't. She was saved- somehow- she was saved.

She sits far from the ledge embarrassed and jealous as new people jump and fall to their destiny. She has observed many familiar faces coming back and jumping into love over and over again. Some of the people who told her it wasn't smart are doing it themselves now- most of them stay gone-they waited. She has frightfully become analytical. She wants to jump again...

...one day she will... but for now she will just take pleasure in watching others jump for their 1st, 2nd, 18th time...

Swallowing his pride he choked himself- what a bereaved soul.

What if he had awaken to his ignorance before he had to swallow? Would he have still had to choke while it was all going down?

The affect of his pursuit of events was her naïveté to follow the course of manipulation- what a bereaved soul.

What if he and she had known then what they would later learn and stand for? Would their remnants of emotions attached to that hole in each of their hearts been healed by new relations?

More than likely- NO. Yet, even knowing so- WHY, in all their new found sound stability of knowledge would they want to test the waters that once drowned them in the suffocation of their own salty tears?

Love... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...  how dramatically beautiful it is.

Don't you think?
